Can someone till me what they think of this picture? The lighting was very tricky.

Thank you.

was it taken at high noon.. coz the trees seems to be under exposed making it a bit dull.. could try using a polarizing filter.. that will give a more balanced colour between the sky and greens. Also try at a different time of day as the lights prob softer ( assuming this was taken at hi-noon)

it was taken at about 1, and that was probably the only time I was going to be able to get up their this year so I really wanted to make the shot work. The exposure on different objects are not as consistent as I would like for sure. I did under expose it and used a flash to light up the foreground,

Great location and nice framing.

This would have been a good candidate for a multiple exposure shot, although hindsight is always 20 20.

Armando,

I did not think about that at the time. I had taken some earlier, but at that point i was getting a little warn out by the climb and just wanted to get the shot. But the new edit pops a lot more. Thank you

Understood as I have been there on those hot days also . At least you will be able to bring out some more detail in the tree line.

Good shooting.
