This shot was taken early in the morning with my old Fujifilm FinePix 1000fd. The rainbow, however, is not as colourful as I hoped it to be. I am just beginning to get away from automatic settings. Will appreciate any suggestions on how to improve.

![]() My question, when you saw the rainbow, 'was' it more colorful than this or not. If it was then try a different white balance. Maybe it has less sharp colors so try to use the zoom of your camera or increase darkness of the background, for more contrast. I don't think post processing can do much good to this photo, unless you recreate the rainbows using Photoshop ![]() P.S. If you have free time then do look up "Rainbow Photography" in Google, Self Learning is a great experience and you understand your mistakes better, and improve them in a better way .
