Ferry Sunset

curious if the small corner of the ferry is visible should be cropped? The vibrant light was hard to get just right but the left side is really dark. Is there too much of contrast between the focal point of the image and the dark left side? Any other general comments are welcome. Thanks for looking :0))Camera: Canon EOS 50D

Hi, if I were you, I'd try to crop not the ferry but the top left dark clouds a bit. I'm considering that because the ferry on the bottom right will be much larger, and adding a foreground interest to your shot. If you're just cropping it out, then the image would be too flat, just background with no foreground...

Nice shot.....well if your photo is titled "Ferry Sunset" then what happens if the ferry itself is removed
Oops ...hehehe just joking....yes you could crop out the ferry....the sunset looks awesome anyways.
You could also (if you could shoot similar photo again) bring the ferry more into your frame....that way you could retain the name of your photo and it would look really nice too.

Yes...the left side is TOOO dark...too much....somehow add blue-gray to the clouds instead of black then see how it looks.....
