Default Bridge on the avon

A bridge in Stratford over the river Avon. I'm quite new to dslr's and photography as a whole so any advice would be helpful

Hello! Please check out the forum rules. In particular, please ask specific questions -- it'll help both us and you with the critique. Also please post exposure information (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc.). Thanks!

From my unprofessional point of view... i think the lighting is unbalanced.. the right side of the pic is too dark.. what would been better is to adjust your composition by moving to a different location, eg: more to the left so the composition would include the whole bridge without the dark trees in shadows.
Nice clouds and skies tho..

Wow. Nice landscape
Really Great shot.
Beautiful colors, contrast and beautiful sky and also nice water
Good work

Suggestion:you could zoom in a bit more to get a closer shot of the bridge

There are a LOT of shadows off to the right -- I think a lot of detail has been lost there.

In addition, I feel like the bridge is your subject -- but it's rather small, and gets lost under the sky. There's nothing wrong with having a lot of sky, but the result is that it de-emphasizes the bridge.

I do like the colors -- the reds and blue contrast nicely.

Overall suggestions: try going in at a different time of day, to emphasize the colors more. Get closer, or at a different angle, to emphasize the bridge itself.
