Default Seattle at Dusk

First time being really serious about a shot.

I would like a general assessment of the overall quality of the shot and some tips to make this more appealing.

This was taken on a Canon Rebel xt with a 18-55mm lens exposed for 15 seconds.

Thank you,

Michael

I really like this shot! I spent almost a week in Seattle last year, unfortunately it was before I got my REAL camera. I've been wanting to go back ever since! I think that the nearest part of the foreground is just a LITTLE too bright, other wise I really like the shot!

I have the feeling this is not sharp enough as a landscape picture.. Maybe just my laptop screen or when you upload it the pixels were reduced to a bare minimum.. However i do like the colors and lights.

Hi Michael,

Like the composition, colours are great. Tripod? I would have tried a different exposure time of between 10 and 15 seconds. Like you I enjoy shooting cityscapes at dusk or even at night. Nice Image, look forward to seeing more.

Mark.
