Question Smoke and mirrors

I have been playing with this shot for awhile and can't make up my mind if it needs cropping . Its exactly as taken in terms of framing. I like the subdued colour as it evokes the idea of smoke/fog (which is actually steam) but is it making the whole thing lack contrast.

I think step #1 should be rotating the picture to make it straight (probably using the vertical of the bridge supports as a guide)... then think about cropping and other composition factors.
