Would greatly appreciate critique on composition and exposure specifically and any other feeling that you have on this photo.
This image has not been processed or cropped. It was shot using a Nikon D70 with an AF Nikkor 70-300mm D glass. I used aperture priority. f/32, shutter speed used by the D70 was 1 second. Focal length was 75 mm. WB was auto. Metering was center weighted/average. ISO 200. Time of day was 08:37 EST an overcast sky. The sun was rising behind the falls. Not sure if this is too much info but this is my first time asking for your feedback. Anyway... here is the photo: Big Top on Flickr - Photo Sharing! Thanks in advance for your help. I been work on becoming a better storyteller with what I shoot. I thought it was time to get some feedback before I develop any "bad habits" that will only take me more time to unlearn. darrell Last edited by hemhaw; 09-18-2009 at 01:27 AM. In fairness, the link was not there when the first two responses were made.
I tried to leaning over the rail to shoot the shot without getting the tree branch, but could not get the shot hand held. I have a couple others but in the spirit of the "one per day" rule, they will have to wait. What is the preferred way to post images in this forum for critique?
