Cool SOOC Vignetting.

I took this on my way to work yesterday, The shot is SOOC, no PP has been done to it. I would like to know if you would do anything to improve it or should it stay as is. What do you think about the composition. Any other comment is more thatn welcome.

Looks good, the one change I would make would be to try and get the dock and boat more visible.

I agree. The exposure is good. Maybe slightly more exposure and shooting from a lower angle if possible to get the dock and boat would make that even more beautiful. Great eye.

I was thinking the same thing........a little lower would be great. I don't know if the horizon is not level or if it's the 18mm that's making it not look level. I think I would of also waited until the sun was totally behind the trees, but that could be fixed in PP.

Wonder if a bracketed shot would work. One to pull in the details of the boat and dock and one to draw in the colors of the sunset?

Good start though!

Thank you guys for the input, i apreciate. like i mentioned before, i do have another one on flickr with a lower angle close to the boat. for the horizon, i was also trying to figure out if it was just an illusion and if i tryed to straighten out it looked a bit weird. I could not wait for the sun to be behind the threes because i would have had to wait a litle less than 24 hours, it was sunrise. LOL. I i ever come across the scene, i will try to remember bracketing and HDR but i go with the feel of the moment.

The frist thing I noticed is the angle of the dock. It leads you eye off to one side of the image, leaving the other side lonely. And maybe try lightening up the boat a hair
Colors are fantastic!
