Default Amateur seeking critique

Hi all

I'm new to DPS forum, but have been looking through the site for a few months
I've got a few macro shots I'd like advice on aswell as a several landscape and urban photographs
I'm a complete novice but accept constructive criticism and would love to hear from experienced photographers and what you all think of my work
Flickr: Mr. Pleasant's Photostream

Thanks

Mr Pleasant

First of all, WELCOME to DPS
Mr. Pleasant, if you could post up to four photos on this forum in your thread it would be best. For me at least, when I go to someone's photostream from here,, I get totally kicked off DPS and have to start all over again, so it's not my first choice. I did do it this time, and you have some lovely shots....a lot of people will not do it though. So please post them so we can all share in them and enjoy them...I know it's sometimes hard to choose which ones to post, but each day you can post four more!

Welcome to dps and yes Leona is right...its hard to jump from here to flickr so we hope you can post the photos on here. If your looking for serious critique then you need to post your photos in the critique section. But i took a look at your flickr photostream and you have some great photos there...Looking forward to seeing more.

Excuse me, I know it's off topic but I am wondering what problems do you have when going from DPS to Flickr and back? I don't understand it exactly. Maybe it depends on the browser you use. For example, I use Opera (but any other modern browser has the same functions) and if I want to "jump" to Mr. Pleasant's photostream I just click the link with the middle mouse button, and it opens in a new tab. When I finish I just close that tab and I'm back on DPS right where I was. Sorry if this is not the problem you're talking about, I just thought I could help.

Mr. Pleasant, welcome to DPS.

You really should post these in the appropriate Critique Forums.
