At first look it seams great, but than - silouethe of that forest hill distracts me from water, and I believe that water was the focal point of the photo... How to improve it? Well... Have no idea. You could always go closer, concentrate on a detail...

Default A couple of ideas

I have a couple of ideas for this shot.
1. recompose horizontal to play up the shape of the ridge and it's reflection. This would also balance out the strong negative space of the sky.
2. Try breaking the rule of thirds rule and put an equal amount of sky and reflected sky in the shot
3. Color balance is an issue in this shot - I'd like a blacker black, and it's a little bit too gray for my taste.
4. Use the wind ruffled versus calm water as a compositional element - I like how it breaks the reflection - it's interesting and different.

hope that gives you something to work from,
regards,
emtab
