Default dead tree

This is my first post on the critique board so tell me if i am doing anything wrong.
I took this shot at Bryce canyon national park. What I want help on is composition. Specifically, should i have moved the tree over to follow the rule of thirds. Also, is the sun flare cool and interesting or distracting. Could I have exposed the sky better.
Any comments are appreciated.

Fantastic silhouetted tree! I love the lighting and contrast in this shot!

Looks nice.. any post-processing ? I see some blue/green shade instead of black.. May be it's just me.
