This is a sexy photo of trees, man! I like it a lot. However, my eye settles on the tree in the middle and I then feel like the photo is out of balance. I'd crop like this and up the contrast a bit. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Well, it's a great idea and a good composition, but your shadows are clipped. Most of the tree trunks have no detail, but not all. I would recommend either choosing to silouhette the trees entirely, and expose for the bright light, or expose for the trees and allow them all to have shadows. The way it is, it looks accidental...only the darkest shadows are silouhetted, which usually means they were clipped...

Great image. For me, I might have taken the picture with a bit more foreground (lowered the perspective) although that is a bit cliched. The other thing I find is that the image is a little unbalanced. The tree to the left that rises up out of the frame creates a mass that isn't countered on the right. I also don't like that it is the only tree meeting the bottom edge of the photograph. The overall composition is great the concept is superb. These are niggley little things in a nice photographs.
