Hillside

Tried to capture a upright view of a hill from an adjacent hill top .......
Please provide comments on what kind of changes that i can make to make this image appear more scenic ... for that plush green and majestic look.
What are the ways to edit it using software ( i use only Photoshop, please suggest a good photo editing software(preferably freeware ;-) )

It looks misty to me.

If you are using a prosumer or DSLR, you can try attaching a UV filter to eliminate the mist.

I'm not too sure about post processing but isn't photoshop good enough?
