Default Reflection

This is one of many reflection that is posted on My Fiickr stream.Shot these on the back way to canmore AB, How can I improve this picture???


Camera: Canon EOS 50D
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/8.0
Focal Length: 18 mm
ISO Speed: 100
All comments and help Needed.There to learn and Help if I can.

I don't see anything wrong with it as is.... It's a nice scene.

One thing to consider is "what" is it that made this scene so impressive? IMO, what makes it particularly unusual is the reflection. Therefore, I would try to focus on the reflection itself and not the entire scene....Maybe cut out the sky somewhere just above the horizon.

I don't know if it will work any better or not....

I think the horizon need to be tweak. is falling at one side. If you can keep the reflection point at the center and horizontal, this will be a perfect mirror reflection.

2nd thing, there are some rocks at the bottom right of the picture, Not so interesting to have that.

straighten horizen and crop just a little.
