Hey Wacho,
I'm fairly new to photography, so feel free to disregard my comments; I feel like the most interesting object in this photo is the barrel, so perhaps you should shoot or crop closer to that. I'd also like to see a larger image, if possible.

I don't really see anything that is a subject. It's a lovely shot that gives me the sense of wandering down an old country road, but...it seems like something is missing...a bird or squirrel running across the path, a lick of flames out the top of the barrel...something. There just isn't anything that makes me want to look at it beyond a cursory glance.
Just my humble opinion...I certainly mean no disrespect.

I agree that there is nothing that makes the picture pop! I didn't zoom out on the picture because there is a barn to the left that I thought would make the picture worse and I wasn't sure if the barrel was interesting enough to zoom in on it. Perhaps I am wrong though. |
