Default Sunset in Spain

Sunset. Somewhere Between Zaragoza and Madrid

I am pretty new to photography and this is my very first post!
Any comments appreciated, but I am curious about whether the picture is too dark and interesting enough. My goal was to capture the sunset because it was stunning - so this what I want my pictures to be. What could I have done better?

Taken Aug 10th.
Camera: Nicon D90
Focal Length 105 mm
Aperture f /5.6
Exposure: 1/1000
ISO Speed: 200
Flash: Off, Did not fire

I don't think it's too dark, it works well just showing the silhouettes. The clouds are interesting, too.

Unfortunately it feels to me like the composition is a bit off. I think it's probably because you've centered the two turbines as if you were going for a symmetrical composition, even though the turbines themselves don't balance well against each other. I think I would have moved around a bit and tried for a more off-center composition.

It's a nice shot none the less and you're doing well for someone new to photography :-)

maybe you should step closer too. By doing this, you will fill left and right area of your image more, hence reducing the empty space, making the wind turbine bigger and making the image stronger with strong POI.
