it looks to me that you crop it too tight (the top is a little to short). i mean, i cannot see how big is this old bridge compare to their surrounding.
the color is ok i think, i have no objection for that

I agree that your exposure looks good. Good aperture (f/8) for the type of photo and also good ISO for quality.
On composition, I would also agree that the crop is wrong or tight. I like the pillar but am unsure what it means or it's context. It's lacking anything that draws you in. I would try to find another angle or location to get a different effect. Let me ask...are there other pillars around? If there is more than one that supported the bridge, could you find a location to get them all in a line so they are traveling "into" the image? If not, can you take the image standing from where the bridge began looking towards where it ended?...something like that? Try to get some context into the image. Draw the viewer in by making them want to look and figure out what's in the picture.

Just one point I notice is that it could do with a slight rotation clockwise, just a smidge, but i think it will make a big difference. It is hard to tell sometimes whether a shot is straight or not when you cannot see a horizon, but the pillar is the key in this image.
