Default Help Please

Need help on this landscape shot. I was hoping to bring out the different shades of blues, yellows and oranges. Is there any way I could bring out the colors some more without over-saturating the shot? The greens on the tree tend to blot when I try to saturate. Other advice to improve this shot would be helpful too. Thanks!

What editing programe are you using? Did you shoot in RAW or JPEG?

There are various ways to edit a shot like this to bring out the colours without it looking like an explosion in a paint factory. I use Lightroom so I would have used some fill light to bring some of the details out in the shadows and recovery to attempt to repair as much of the blown out sun as possible. Then the vibrance slider to increase the saturation of the more muted colours without blowing the greens sky high. I'd then go to work on the sky with a localised adjustments to reduce the exposure and increase the saturation in order to make the most of the activity in the clouds.

You could do this using any other programe that allows localised adjustments to achive the same goal.

However whichever programe you use the most important piece of editing that needs to be done is to...
