That's a nice shot, the lighting is fine. I would try doing a curves adjustment on the blue channel to see if that would bring up some color in the water.

It would be better if the horizontal line is placed away from the middle of the photograph. It looks that the photograph is spilt in the middle. Use the Middle 3rd rule. The horizon also looks a little tilted to left. Thats my observation, however experts may give more valuable suggestions since I am also new to photography.

I'd say put the horizon on the bottom third of the photo
It'll give you more space for the awesome sky you got there, plus the water doesnt give too much story on your photo. I'd crop it out and would only include them waves there...all in all good shot and awesome color/tones going there! good job! ps: just noticed you have a cool lomo-ish/retro-ish colors going up there in the sky... was hoping to see more of that
