Default Into the Sea

Hi,
Please comment on this "walking in to the sea" photography of mine. i understand that the sea and the sky are very little in the photo,but i wanted the footsteps to be prominent -the subject of my photo. tell me how i can improve on such subjects...
Into the Beach

Camera: Olympus FE310,X840,C530
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/800)
Aperture: f/6.5
Focal Length: 12.5 mm
ISO Speed: 80
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off

I like what you're doing with this. It definitely works!

However, if you still have the original photo and it happens to be level, I'd only rotate it by about 15 degrees or so, not the full 45 that you've done... That looks overdone a little and also it looks like you just held down the SHIFT key when you rotated it.

Great idea but the tilt isn't working in my opinion.

I agree! It's a nice idea with the slippers and footsteps, the tilt is a little bit self-indulgent. I'd try a vertical shot here to get the story going

Since your title is into the sea, why not bring a little more of the sea into the photo.
