Default Skull Rock

I tool this picture last summer and came back to it and tried to edit it. It seemed like a generic waterfall, but after I played around with it this rock started looking skull-like. Is this pictures interesting in any way or is it still generic looking??

I like the clarity of the water, I see what you talk about, with time looking at the rock, but it is not what jumps out at first and if you had not mentioned it i would not have seen the scull shape. One thing that distracts me is the foaming of the water.

What could be done about the foaming water? I think if it were cropped out it would look weird and might lose the water fall effect.

I like it and the foam doesn't bother me, but then I have a thing for water, especially waterfalls. I enjoyed looking at this one. The rock does look a bit like a skull now you point it out, but I probably wouldn't have noticed either, but then that's what a provocative title can do. You don't suppose it actually is a skull do you...?! What the skull rock does for me is add a bit of variety in colour and in the form of the water, I like the way the water curves over it and the light reflected in that dome. It doesn't seem to generic to me, beacuse that adds enough interest. But then I'd probably also like the pure simple lines of the waterfall if it wasn't there...

I like the shot. Never would have noticed the skull if you hadn't mentioned it, but the splash of color that it adds is good.

Thanks everyone. I like those kinds of pictures that have something a little hidden in them.

I really like:
- The title ("skull rock") makes the shot for me. It brings out something surprising, which feels great.
- The glare of the water looks great and adds some more interest where it goes over the "skull".
- The foam is just fine, it fits well.
