Default Moon rising

ST-Helene island Montreal, Québec.

The moon was rising trough the branches of a tree

Very nice and unique way of using the branches to frame the moon.
One suggestion would be to have composed the moon in a way that it wouldn't have merged or touched the bottom branch.
Other than that I think you did a great job ..

I have to agre with Tom onthis one, a few steps back for this shot would have separated the branch and the moon and make for a better shot but i like it a lot. Also using a smaler aparture ( f11) and longer exposure may have revealed more details in the moon but that is just my opinion, i never tried it.

Suggestion well taken as usual, it was my first attempt with my new lense i got carried away, i will be more attentive next shoot
