Took this shot on a trip to Colorado. I'd like some feed back on a few things:
Composition of the photo. Too much sky? Enough sky? Foreground? Exposure: Is this do dark? Is there enough detail in the dark parts of the mountain Noise: This was shot at ISO 400 so there is some noise, especially in the sky. I actually think the noise is what makes the photo, but was wanted other opinions. I think the noise adds depth, mystery, and just overall character. other opinions welcome. Thanks. info: 1/80 3.5 ISO400 B&W conversion done with silver efex

On this picture, i have a realy hard time seeing the details. I find it is very dark. Your title mentioned a lake but i can only try to imagine wich part of the picture is the lake (probably the litle darker part in the midle of the foreground below the mountains) we have to guess. I like the way you put this in a portrait orientation and sky looks good.

Thanks for the feedback. Palmer lake is the name of the town I was in. The lake in town is more of a large pond, but is not in this photo.
