ok so i took this picture in our old barn which is filled with numerous things..through the wonders of photoshop i made it into a black and white..and added contrast but it may be to contrasty or to busy.??? idk im very torn on the shot any opinions or ideas will be apriciated

Sorry, but I must agree it is way too busy for my eyes.
You have some good scenes within this scene and you just need to focus on them and simplify. For instance I like the bright white light socket against the weathered old horizonal boards. Take this part of the scene and try composing it in a dramatic way. If you start at the right bottom corner you come to a set of horizonal boards. These boards with the vertical boards they are attached too provide a nice frame for the items behind them. Try just focusing on this area. I think your off to a good start and just need a little fine tuning. I look forward to seeing more of your work..
