Default beautiful sunset

Photobucket

it's kinda of a dark sunset, but to me, i love it.

should i have had all interruuptions out of the way like the person in the dark? should i had made it where you can see everything like the trees and all? or is it good the way it is.

taken at pine cove camp 08' with a nikon coolpix3200

Thats a great picture. When I first saw it my screen was tilted in an odd angle and the picture was really black to the point of it being a silhouette of the trees and ground. I then saw it the way it should have been. I must say I liked it more as the silhouette so maybe if you darkened it alot (that would also take away the guy in the picture).

If you love it then congrats on capturing a scene you love. Satisfy yourself first, if others like it too, then great, if not, oh well atleast it is your master piece and you are happy with it.
I'm not too crazy being able to see the person to the right so if it were me I would crop that out.
There seems to be a bit too much negative space near the bottom. However, that is just my opinion. Perhaps you like the balance and feel that without the amount of dark negative space you have it would create a un-balance feel.

I agree on the darken it up part. Nice shot.

Nice shot! I agree that you should try to get the person out of it. Also, it appears there was a bit of wind as the ends of the trees in some instances are blurred. Maybe even crop it a bit more to get more "lead-in".

Love the contrast!

I would try to crop this with a 4*6 or 5*7 starting at the top left, this should leave the sunset at the bottom third and give it a nice balance. Just one opinion. Very nice shot.
