Default Richmond Sunset

What do you think of this sunset?
Is there anything I can do to make it stand out?
And are my camera setting ok?

Focal Length: 55.0 mm
ISO: 100

Technically speaking, it might be a little too dark and could use a bit of lightening up, but having said that, I think it's perfect -- I tend to like darker pictures anyway, so I might be a bit biased. Excellent work.

I have lightened it in now, does it look a bit washed out of colour now?

I liked it better dark, it was very striking, the colours glowing out of the darkness, very dramatic.

I too prefer the darker version hands down.
I see no room or need for improvement on the first image. A remarkable sunset !!

Love the photo, it works just as it is.

With a bit of works using curves in each of the chanels it is possible to drag out a bit more color...........

I like both, my adjustment is subtle. Given the time it was shot there should still be blue in the sky, as can be seen in the dark clouds
