Default Winter storm rising

Here is another one of my shots taken on a one day buisness trip to PEI, It is a storm building up over the Atlantic Ocean. the ocean is frozen in this area but i would not try to go take a walk on it.

the scene was originally very bright even without my camera looking into it so i had to darken it up a bit to see details. It naturally almost is sepia. Does this picture tell the story i am trying to share? Anything i could have done better?

storm over the Atlantic

Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/10.0
Focal Length: 22 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off

I don't know the weather signs where you are to be able to tell if it looks like a storm is coming, but maybe others who live there would see it. To me it does convey bleak frozen expanses and I like the composition, the diagonal line of broken rocks. The curving lines of ice in the foreground look a bit like surf on a beach. I like it and have no suggestions for improvement!

I too love the diagonal line of the rocks.
I like the texture in the foreground the ripples in the water and the interesting cloud formations. This is a beautiful shot my friend!
It is a tad bit too light (contrast) for my taste but as you know I tend to prefer a darker tone to images.
I have to admit that if I had to choose a favorite of one the pictures you have posted, this would be it !!

Thank you Annette and Tom,
It is always nice to hear from you both.
I did notice on my other monitor that contrast is a litle low and did work on it a litle and that made a great deal of a change when i have time i will post the reworked one.

by the way Tom The only water present now is in a frozen state (snow, ice and clowds).

I really like the colors in this one. Interesting that they came out this way naturally!

I like the angles and the textures. I think the sun is a bit too bright. I would lower the brightness & boost the contrast.

Nice shot
