Default Tower in Cenotaph

Hi, This snap was taken on a foggy morning in Delhi-Qutb Minar Complex.I have tried to capture the tower within a canopy which is placed nearby. Tell me how effectively the snap conveys the historicity of the tower and canopy...

I like the way you have framed the tower. It's a little off centre and I can't decide if that is a good thing or not. I'm not sure whether the modern people walking past the tower add anything to it, it might be that cropping the bottom and only showing the historical stuff improves the historicity you are going for, but it could be argued that they add to the sense of the length of time it has been there. I'd try a crop to see which I prefer though. I like the detail in the carving on the canopy.

Wow what a neat frame.
I agree the bottom of the shot is more of a distraction than aiding in any interest. The tree to the left is a bit distracting aswell.
Perhaps try some different crops in PP and see if you come up with anything you like better.
