this is a crop of a bigger photo, i desaturate it and add some noise. please share with me what i did wrong.

It would be fun to have more on what you wanted to share with this picture.
In my very unexperienced eye, i think the whole picture is a little out of focus and maby a litle composition of the picture could help ( see Rule of third ). I also find the Three on the right a litle distracting to the eye. Maby a different crop or a diferent shoot angle could do the job.

Like i said i am very unexperienced, i started in photography a couple of weeks ago so mabe i am wrong.

I agree with barabe--critiquing a shot like this might be easier if you can tell us what point you're trying to convey. I'm not sure that I like the green tinge, and if the focal point of the picture is supposed to be the tower/rocket thing on the hill, you might want to include less of the hill in your shot.

The picture shows promise though, I think after a few minor changes it'll be good.

I agree with dman..not really feeling the Green tint either.
