I really like the one that private did. The last one is pretty, but it doesn't look realistic to me. With the sky so angry, I wouldn't expect everything else to be so bright.

I always have to scoll up to check whether private or lputman was the one who made the comment because by the time i start replying I can't remember which one and their avatars are so similar. by the way, has anyone seen lputman lately?

I used separate layers for sky and trees with masking. Then some hue/saturation adjustment to make trees a bit greener.

It's a very basic technique, really, once you learn how to do it. You can get the idea from this tutorial, have fun!
