Default almost white

Hi,

It was a foggy winter day and I went up with the kids to the tower on the hill to catch some sun. That was the closest to the sun on that day.
What do you say about this photo, what should I do better next time?

Thanks,
Matjaz

The only thing I can think of is to tilt the camera futher down to get more of mountain and less of the sky which offers nothing to the picture.

I agree with tilting the camera down, as there are large white areas in your image that are not really helping. I would also level the horizon. Finally, you might play around with sharpening the image to make it clear that the fog is moving through trees. This looks like one of those scenes that was cool to be there, but hard to capture in an image.

Guys I have a quick question about this photo what metering mode would you use... would you go for matrix or partial on the trees and then recompose...
I guess it would be best to bracket the picture... i'm thinking how could you take this picture to show details in the trees without loosing the nice fog color passing through the trees
