Michigan Sunset

Exif Data:
Camera Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Exposure 0.05 sec (1/20)
Aperture f/8.0
Focal Length 24 mm
ISO Speed 400
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Flash Off, Did not fire

What do you guys think of the overall composition?
I am a little worried about the dark areas on the left and right of the frame, the path by the river... do u guys have any recommendations in post to make that better?

Any other comments are also appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

You got GND? You want to try using a GND to make the center of the water less bright? Because I kinda find the overexposed water in the centre taking some attention away from the nice orange colored background...

I am almost inclined to further underexpose the picture.... this will turn the trees and pathways into a silhouette almost... while at the same time bringing more details in the water reflection and the sky... I do not feel like you need to bring out the pathway more

What I was thinking. Give it a try. Otherwise, I do like the image.

Thanks for the comment! Next time I capture a similar shot I will consider using an ND!

Thanks for ur comments! I understand what u mean here. I think I am going to try bring the over exposure down for the water and see what kind of effect it gives me.
