Hi,

this is the photo of the bay I usualy windsurf when it is windy.
This time it was calm so I made a few photos.
Can you please rate this photo. Is it too blue...

It doesn't look too blue to me. I think it could use more color, actually. The horizon doesn't look quite level. I'm afraid just having that one cloud as your subject doesn't really hold my interest. I don't see anything that unusual or compelling about it to keep my interest.

Hey,
Thank you for your reply. You are right, it is a boring picture. It is also without contrast and with wrong settings. I suppose it would be better if I would use F16 aperture and wait for sunrise or sunset time.
Anyway, thank you.

There's to much dead sky above the cloud... unfortunately there isn't much point cropping it out because as Krusty said it doesn't really hold interest... next time try to recompose when this happens (you cant find a subject...
If I was there... the top of the frame would be the upper edge of the cloud... which means I have more water now in the picture. And then I would just wait till something comes into my view... anything... a bird... a boat... a wave even... or just a calm moment where the reflections are extra nice does that help?

Help’s a lot. Appreciate your comment. Yes the composition is bad. Will try to consider your suggestions next time. Actually there was a very nice panorama, but the photo is not as nice it should be.

If you shot this closer to sunset, you would have a more colorful and interesting sky. It would also help if you could include some foreground interest in your shot to add depth and draw the viewer in.
