Default Fantasy land...

Hi all, this castle is located right in the middle of Disneyland, the pic was taken at 0:00 2012, receiving new year.

Can you please critic composition and exposure?

Composition and exposure on castle seems good.

2012 sign overexposed.

You could make a duplicate layer.
Select the sign.
Inverse selection.
Clear.
Deselect.
Change blending mode to multiply.
All done on the duplicate layer.

Magic.

I did a shadows/highlights adjustment for just the sign...I was literally amazed there was so much recoverable from the jpeg.
Additional exposure adjustment with gamma pushed.
