I am not very sure if it will work but it might be a good idea employing the golden ratio (6:1) on the building, it might bring out the architecture more.

Hi , thank you for you response, means alot. anyways , I know the golden ratio , though 6:1 ? Couldnt fully grasp it. Tried it out, but the photo looks like its not saying enough , just too small, mayby I got it wrong. Mayby you can show me what you were talking about?
-Cheers-

Its a bit hard to show you using your photo because I feel the building feels a bit being chopped off. Since you know the golden ratio, then its easier to explain, what I meant was show more of the building, the ratio of the building's height to the width should be 1:6 (or close enough), that way, you will make the architecture look more majestic. Also make sure you include a full view of the tower thingy(dont know what they call that, that structure should not affect the height ratio). I understand your desire to include the sky because the sky looks so beautiful, but personally, I feel that the reflection cast upon the building by the evening sun actually made the building looks very majestic, so should emphasize the building more.

That was my view anyway. It might or might not work, some expert will say some rules are meant to be broken, but in this case, I really think that applying the rule will make the subject (building) in the photo stand out more rather than break this golden rule.

The second photo you attached I think made the composition look worse (forgive me for my straightforwardness). If you have a chance to go back there again, try to move more to the right, include the view of the building from the base up to that average height.

I got a photo here which might not be the perfect example, I tried to learn as much basic technique as possible when I first started shooting. In this shot, I tried to use the golden ratio to catch people's attention.

In a way, I know it works because after I posted this shot, an online non-profitable journal contacted me for permission to use my photo in their monthly journal.

I didn't know about the golden rule. I am a newbie though so thanks for the tutorial. Before I read the rule I wanted to say that the picture looks amazing. I would be grateful if you can show us the new image after you apply the rule to it.
As for me... Beautiful picture

the light is beautiful, I would be proud of this pic. I wish the tip top wasn't cropped off of course, but everything else looks good to me.

I like the soft light you have captured on the side of the building. Compositionally, though, I feel like I am looking at part of an image cropped from a larger image. I would like to see more of the building, as it feels a bit cut off to me.

The colors and the details in the shot are excellent, and it's nicely balanced. My only complaint really is that you cut off that part of the roof. A step back, would probably have prevented that. Otherwise it's a nice shot.
