Almost everything looks good. I like the flow of the traffic. I like the placement of the colors. I even like the slight framing elements in the bottom corners.
The lights are all balanced pretty well except for that white billboard on the left side. That is real distracting. I can think of three options you could have used or could use to change that. If you had taken an exposure just for the billboard(~-4 from this exposure) you could have cloned that detail into this image. HDR might have been another choice. What you can do now is to create a type layer and put something on the billboard. Something such as "Photography by Art, the best in Las Vegas" would be interesting and it would be fun to see how many people would notice. It wouldn't be that hard to do. The only other thing that bothers me is the slight key-stoning effect on the buildings. This is easy enough to correct by selecting the whole image and using the skew function under transform, under edit, in Photo shop. You then pull out the top two boxes at the edge until all is straight. Good shot. Last edited by Barry Jackson; 01-11-2012 at 06:30 AM. |
