Default Acrotowers in Korea

Hello!

This is my first critique post. I'm still saving for my first DSLR, but trying to continue working on my composition/post-production skills in the meantime. Any feedback will be much appreciated!

I like it maybe the sky is a bit overexposed... You can put your powershot in manual I think to get a few more detail in the sky... nice work though... looking forward to see what you'll do once you get your dslr

I do not like the Dutch angle for landscape shots, but at least it shows that you are not taking the typical snapshots that any tourist can take. Seeing a white sky like that is a little strange, but you do have some nice lines in your shot. Hopefully, you'll be able to get a DSLR soon.

I like the composition and the colors of blue and yellow used against each other.

A point and shoot is perfectly capable of producing some great pictures.

What is more important is where you point it and when you click it.

A camera you can fit in your pocket and always have with you will do a lot better job than the best DLSR that is left at home.

I carry a Canon A720 IS with me almost all the time, but I do have a Nikon D90 when I need the extra functions or lenses. The D90 is my first choice when doing portraiture though.

I like this.

I like the angles. I like the colors. I like the overall composition.

You have taken a rather humdrum, uninteresting subject and made it more interesting.

I don't mind the overexposed sky. The blank sky makes me focus more on the lines of the structures.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The sky has been a very flat white haze lately. I like the white background to the towers, but I suppose it might have a bit more of a dramatic feel if you could see defined clouds. Perhaps I'll try again when the weather is a little different!

Personally, I feel landscape shots shouldn't even be shot at such a weird angle. This shot here didn't uses the horizontal and vertical rules to emphasize what you want.
