Are the sun rays in the mid-left corner too distracting?

Actually, I find the trees more distracting, then again, there is nothing we can do, cannot possibly chop the trees off can we, HAHA!

If I can change the scene totally, I will chop away the trees on the right and see more of the trees on the left in a way the trees on the left lined up in a straight line leading right from the extreme left up to somewhere near the guy in white shirt is standing...

At the angle it appears now, I would say it is a distraction. However, if you were able to take the shot later in the day when the sun is lower, it could help your shot IMO.
