D7000 with 50mm 1.8G taken at f2.8 1/2000 ISO100. Am I missing any info?

I was mainly wondering about the colour of this image and whether the composition works, but all suggestions are welcome.

And how do you upload pictures in the thread, rather than as attachments?

The pier and the flag are distracting. I wonder if standing somewhere else would have cut out those background items. I would like to just see sand, boats, and water.
