Default Pre-dawn architecture

This is a pre-dawn image of a beautiful restored building on the University of Washington Tacoma Campus. I liked the way the lighting highlighted the details on the building. I would like a critique about the composition. Is there enough interest in the image or is it to forced and hokey?
Image data:
Sony SLT-A55V
f/4
1/40 sec
ISO 1000
focal length 20mm

Post production:
Cropped the image
Unsharpen mask to sharpen the detail a little more
Small Level adjustments

Also, am I attaching the right size images?

It is a nice shot, but does not blow me away. If the tree in the foreground was intentional foreground interest, it misses the mark for me. The vertical line of the corner is tilted to the right. My eye does not find anything to settle on.

You could post a larger image, no more than 740 on the long edge. If this image came from Flickr, you can post directly from there. Posting Photos from Flickr [July 2010 Update]

I agree... The picture misses a focal point... it's like a stage waiting for the star but doesnt arrive

I agree with the lack of a focal point but the shot could be improved as an abstract or architectural study if you would eliminate the ~bottom third. That would allow the line that enters on the left to exit on the right and in between show some interesting textures and shadows.

For a bizarre twist lighten the upper window and add a silhouette or a face.

I appreciate the critique and suggestions to go along with it. My original intent was to highlight the architectural detail. I attached three cropped images and would like your opinion if any achieve that goal. I didn't add a person in the window since the focus is on the architectural detail, mainly the capital at the corner. This may be an image for a limited audience versus a broader public.

I would prefer a view of the building from from bottom to top with the corner pillar right in the center giving a semantic view with the left and right of the building...
