Post Edge of Oblivion?

Hopefully I'm posting to the right section..

I love this shot but wish it was more of a panoramic aspect as I'd like to hang it on the wall, but the standard 4:3 aspect doesn't really work hung up.

Anything I can do in post-process to make the aspect work better. What about DOF? My feet are ever so slightly out of focus, should I have increased the DOF to make everything in focus, or something different completely?

Any other post-process tips much appreciated.

It was shot on the ascent up the north ridge of Tryfan in Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, UK. during my morning snack break

I like it! only thing i would like to see is a little less leg a little more water perhaps!

I think the DOF is okay. I don't think your feet have to be in sharp focus, as we can all tell what they are. This technique might give your image more pop:
