Hello all, I said once I settled a few things I would post a shot or two. Here I have a photo that I converted to B/W. Can you share with me some pointers on composition and shading. I'm still experimenting and would like to hear about your perspective. Thanks for contributing.
Twisted B/W • LightPortal Photography I'm sorry, I'm not trying to 'pimp' my site. I thought this would post only the photo, but obviously I was wrong. Forgive me, please. I will work on inserting posts. Don't let it prevent you from commenting on this photo as I would like your input. Again, Thank you for contributing. It helps us if you say what you wanted to convey on your shot. If you wanted to show the rusty, aged object, then I think the color version does a better job of that because I can see more detail. I think the B&W version loses some impact because you have a dark subject against a relatively bright background.
