Default ridding horse.....

Hi all, this statute is showing a kid ridding a horse, not a classic horse as you may see

can you please critic composition and background color, it was edited

I like the colors, but I don't like the looking where I've been effect here. Should have positioned the "horse" on the left side.

I think it would look better on the left too because since the sea horse is faced to the right it will give it a sense of motion and distance to get out of the frame instead of being on the right and leaving the frame. Kind of weird explanation but thats what I think.

It's usually better if it looks like your subject is entering the frame, not exiting it.

Yeah, I have heard something about that, as far as I know, in the left says something, in the right says has other meaning

Since in this case, your subject if facing right, it would look like it is entering the frame if it was placed on the left side of your image and vice versa. I don't know about any other meaning. I think the only time I would not follow this suggestion is if I had a really fast moving object or animal and I wanted to emphasize its speed.
