The one time I go down to the tracks, to get a shot of the tracks, and here comes a train. But it was kinda cool. Does the white sky take away from the shot? Thanks for all your help.

Hello John,

I do think that the white sky is too white (overexposed) and it is drawing away attention from the train. You can try toning it down or increasing contrast on it, which could emphasize clouds, if there were any.

Personally, I'd crop off a bit of the bottom; it doesn't add much to the photo where the train is the main interest.

I would try to move more to the left and try and get rid of the foliage and whatnot on the right. So maybe the train is filling 2/3rds of the image.
