Default I need a fresh set of eyes...

This is a 4 image HDR of the local hills. The original hdr came out very very orange (as do all night shots in socal) so I did a bit of color correction along with levels adjustments...

Did I over-do it? I know it's better than the orange one(here), is it over-done? It's 3 am here, so I can't trust myself, lol

What are you trying to convey/show?
I'm not sure you've done enough color correction.....

"Better", yes. But I still don't understand the point. What am I supposed to be looking at?

Honestly... nothing. It's more "practice" than "well thought out art". I had some stacking software to play with, etc.

In the end it will be a throw away shot, but that doesn't mean I don't want it to look good before I toss it, lol

Oh, ok.
I think that's probably why you didn't get any responses....

I like this one better than the next one you posted further down. I actually like the warmer tones. It gives a fifties, early sixties sci fi feel to the picture, I can see this as an opening scene in an old shoot em up alien movie with the star streaks in the background, almost spooky..what IS in those hills!!? eee! pretty cool..(just my opinion)

the other one looks too dry and washed out..
