I think that's an improvement. However, it seems like your horizon got tilted. I guess you were not able to use a composition that excluded the towers. I think I would have tried to get closer to one of those stumps to use as foreground interest and look for something to use as a leading line into the image.

Thanks for all the advice on this shot, I tried some of your suggestions and and did some of my own. I dont know if its an improvement or just something different. I also did a b/w thats on my flickr page. I tried to improve the composition. Did it work? thanks for all the help.
