Default Eye in the Sky

I took this picture for the Golden Hour assignment (presented a different one instead). I noticed this halo around the Sun. I first tought it was an artefact from PP but then noticed the halo also reflected in the water. Cool!
I'd like your opinion about the colours/saturation in there. The colours were pretty strong at that point but should I try to reduce saturation or is it OK as is?
Any other opinions are welcome too, of course.

Saturation looks fine to me. When you have a 400 yotta-watt continuous light source in the frame, it's pretty likely that it will blow out at least one channel, and for me, at least, it wouldn't look right if you tried to drop the saturation too far.

Thanks Doug.
I was thinking more about the area surrounding the sun than the sun itself.
Altought a dim switch for the sun would be nice for astronomy (I want to observe Mercury, shut the darn thing off !)

I don't see any banding in the sky, it looks fine to me. I would consider cloning out that stick or whatever that is to the right of the sun.

Thanks for the input, Krusty.
And, just so you'll know, that stick is a buoy.

I quite like the buoy actually. In fact a zoomed in shot to include the buoy as the main subject in front of that amazing sunset would be a nice shot also.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I didn't have my tripod with me at the time.
