Default Twilight 1st snow

I captured this image a few weeks ago during the "October Surprise" snow fall we had on the east coast. I would appreciate your critiques on the composition and exposure.

I know the building is leaning slightly, especially on the left side of the image. I struggled with which portion of the building to keep straight with the frame of the image and finally decided on the right edge of the building, as it was closest to the edge of the frame. Did I make the right choice.

I adjusted the exposure, clarity and vibrance slightly in Adobe Bridge.

The only things I find wrong with this photo is the whole scene leans to the right which could be fixed in post, and the bright trees over on the left. Not sure what you could do to get rid of them except shoot from a different angle.

Thanks flytyer57. The bright trees on the left are due to a flood light on that side of the building. I thought the orange glow looked kinda neat, but perhaps I should have asked them to turn the light off for a shot as well.

Regarding your comment about leaning to the right. If I made the ground level (in post), that would solve the right lean. I didn't do that since the building is sitting on a sloped hill, but if I step away from that pre-knowledge, it perhaps would remove a distraction.

Thanks for your comment.

Personally, the glowing trees don't bother me too much, as they "mirror" the orange glow in the windows. The lean of the building is not too distracting, but while I know this was to show the early snow we had, perhaps you might crop a bit from the bottom. Not drastically, but maybe some.

Overall however, I like the shot.

Thanks Markel253. You are correct, the purpose of this shot was to show the early snow -- plus this was a brand new building dedicated this spring, so it was the 1st snow fall for this building -- somewhat of a milestone for the folks who worked to raise the funds to build it.

Anyway, I do like you suggestion to crop a little from the bottom. probably not quite to a panoramic proportion, but close.
Thanks again
