I think all of the vegetation is masking a lot of the lines in the shot, so they are not that apparent (except on the right). If you had not said what your intended subject was, I would not have known, because nothing jumps out at me.

Thanks for your input Krusty.
This photo was taken when I was a newbie to photography. I really didn't understand composition or anything else. I was fishing that cold drizzly miserable day and decided to take a few pics while I was waiting for the catfish to bite. I noticed the lines of the bridge and the hill and thought that was interesting. I guess just not interesting enough. There a couple bridges around here that would prove more interesting, and next spring, I'll have to get out there and take a few pics and put what I've learned to good use. |

Another thing is that you were actually there and felt the wind, the smells and sounds of that spot. All we can see is a two dimensional representation of what you saw that day, so that's part of the challenge of photography - to move others with your images like you were moved when you were there.
