It's a very pretty setting but not a particularly interesting subject in that bicycle going away from you. The road draws me in to where it narrows but then I'm kind of disappointed. The aperture of f5 seems to work for this, not normally what I'd use for a landscape but I like the vagueness at the end of the road ...

I think the centered composition works in this case. I like the fall colors. I don't mind the cyclist facing away from me, as it helps lead my eye down the road. I don't know if you deliberately chose f/5 to keep the DOF limited. If you had a tripod, you could have used ISO 100 and f/8 or f/11.

Edit - the image does look a bit underexposed also.

I tried recently to get a similar pic in that it was an A shaped composition of a path lined with autumnal tree colour. The crit that I got was that it lacked a foreground subject to give interest which I thought was fair comment. Having taken on board that idea, looking at your photo, the subject is very central & completely draws the eye but it's in the middle distance. Would it look better if you'd have captured the mountain bike slamming past the camera into the beautiful scenery that you'd previously framed?
Maybe some crafty use of flash as the bike passed? There's quite a lot of blocky blacks in the trees that could probably be solved using 'Levels' adjustment in your PP software.
